As we get older, we start to notice changes in our bodies. Maybe you feel stiffer than you used to, or you find it takes more effort to maintain your strength and energy.
You want to keep doing the things you love, whether that's practicing yoga, hiking, traveling, gardening, or simply moving comfortably through your day.
But with so many exercises and energy medicine techniques available, how do you know which ones to prioritize?
Lauren Walker has spent 30 years developing and maintaining a devoted yoga practice, and she'll share the techniques she considers most important for healthy aging.
Join Lauren for two live sessions where you'll learn the Energy Medicine Yoga practice she returns to almost every day to support her energy, strength, joint mobility, and spinal health.
You'll learn the techniques, understand why Lauren prioritizes them, and experience the complete practice together so you can continue using it on your own.
When Lauren was developing Energy Medicine Yoga, she asked Donna Eden, a pioneer in Energy Medicine and a world-renowned healer and educator, which energy techniques she considered most important to practice regularly.
Donna's answer helped shape the practice Lauren continues to use today.
In Ancient Chinese Medicine, Spleen and Kidney energy play important roles in maintaining vitality. Lauren will teach you the techniques she uses to strengthen these energies and explain why she considers them essential to her daily practice.

Here's what you need to know:
This is the first time we're offering this training in this format. The first cohort. The only group that will go through the entire 8 months together, with this level of live support and community.
We may offer it again in the future. But it won't be structured like this.
If you've been thinking about yoga teacher training but couldn't make other programs work with your life, this is your chance.
If you're ready to understand what's happening in your body, this is it.
If you want to teach but you're scared you're too old, too stiff, too late, or not "yoga teacher material" - we've heard that from students before. They were surprised to find out none of it was true.
You'll become a confident, capable yoga teacher who understands both the physical and energetic anatomy of the body. You'll be able to lead safe, meaningful classes that genuinely help people feel better.
Along the way, you'll deepen your own practice, heal your relationship with your body, and connect with a community of people who get it.
The training starts February 15th, 2026. Your spot is waiting.

This offering is for anyone who wants to maintain their energy, strength, and mobility, whether you're new to Energy Medicine Yoga or have been practicing for years.
You don't need to be especially flexible or experienced to participate. Lauren will demonstrate modifications and ways to use props for support.
However, the practice includes a sustained squat near the beginning. You should be comfortable exploring some version of a squat, even if that means using a chair or other props.
You'll need a yoga mat, a blanket to place over your mat, another blanket to support the backs of your knees, and any additional props you typically use for a supported squat.
As Lauren says:
"The more I do it, the more I can keep doing it."
Lauren began her devoted yoga practice in 1996. Since then, she's continued practicing through injuries, stressors, grief, menopause and all the changes that come with getting older.
And one thing still surprises her: her ability to keep doing so many of the things she's always done.
Her approach has changed over the years. She no longer regularly does some of the advanced yoga poses she once did. But she's maintained her strength and flexibility, and she can still hold a squat for an extended period.
She credits much of that to her consistent practice, particularly its focus on working with the body's energy.
Her daily practice strengthens the energy systems that tend to weaken with age, maintains healthy joints and spinal mobility, and builds strength in often-overlooked areas of the body.
Now she is sharing that practice with.
You don't have to wait until you're losing strength or mobility to start taking steps to maintain them. What you do now can make a difference in how you feel and move as you get older.
Over the years, Lauren has learned which techniques are most valuable to her, and now she's sharing them with you so you can add them to your own routine.
Learn how to support your energy, strength, and mobility so you can keep doing the things you love for years to come.
Joint mobility becomes increasingly important as you get older, especially if you want to keep moving comfortably and enjoy physical activities.
You'll learn techniques Lauren uses to support her knees and other joints, including a simple method she learned from an Iyengar yoga teacher that she practices even on days when she doesn't have time for her full routine.
You'll also explore ways to work with knee stiffness and limited mobility.
Squatting is an important movement for maintaining lower-body mobility and function throughout your life.
Lauren will guide you through a sustained squat, with options for using a chair, blankets, blocks, and other props for support.
She'll also share techniques for beginning to improve knee mobility if you're not yet able to squat deeply.
You'll work with simple strengthening exercises that target areas we sometimes overlook in our regular movement routines.
These exercises support spinal health, neck strength, and core stability, helping you move more comfortably in your everyday life.
You’ll finish with simple breathwork and a short seated meditation.
During the complete practice, you'll hold each movement or technique for five or more breaths, allowing you to slow down, focus on what you're doing, and notice how your body responds.
