You don't have to choose between learning on your own timeline and getting a high-quality education.

Energy Medicine Yoga (EMYoga) doesn't just work your muscles, it works your energy systems.

Regular yoga focuses on movement, breath, and awareness. That's valuable. EMYoga builds on that foundation by incorporating specific techniques from Donna Eden's Energy Medicine, including tracing meridians, tapping, holding acupressure points, and balancing the body's subtle energies as you move through poses.

Think of it this way: if traditional yoga is like running software, EMYoga is like updating the code underneath, so everything runs more smoothly.

It can quickly calm your nervous system, boost energy when you're depleted, and facilitate faster emotional and physical healing… all while staying grounded in familiar yoga movements and philosophy.

This isn't abstract energy talk. These are specific techniques you can feel working. You'll learn methods you can use immediately, whether you're teaching a class or just trying to get through a stressful Tuesday.

Pam Colton

"Becoming a certified yoga instructor with Blaine was a pivotal turning point in my yoga practice, my life, and my career. I was able to deeply learn about yoga, which gave me the ability to do exactly what I wanted: to teach yoga to others. I learned to confidently plan and lead classes, which is exactly what I do now in my community. The other women in my training are doing the same! This training delivers as promised.

The best part for me was developing skills that allow me to lead weekly classes both in person and online. I gained a true understanding of the mechanics of yoga, as well as the practical aspects of leading classes, including technology and business considerations. The program was well organized and included everything I needed to start teaching.

If you want to complete your yoga teacher training knowing you'll be fully prepared to lead classes, I highly recommend training with Blaine and her community of like-minded, passionate yoga practitioners. There are many teacher trainings out there, but this one is worth every penny, carefully designed and thoughtfully planned for your success."

Techniques, Training & Practice

How to teach and practice asana (poses), pranayama (breathwork), and meditation. You'll learn alignment principles, modifications for different bodies, and how to sequence a class that makes sense.

Anatomy & Physiology

You'll study the physical body (bones, muscles, joints, fascia) and how it moves. But you'll also learn about the body's energy anatomy: meridians, chakras, and the nervous system. This is applied anatomy, not textbook memorization. You'll understand how to keep students safe and how to help them feel better in their bodies.

Yoga Philosophy, Lifestyle & Ethics

The history of yoga. The Yoga Sutras. What it means to be a teacher, not just an instructor. How to hold space for students. How to teach ethically and inclusively, especially when working with trauma or sensitive populations.

Teaching Methodology & Practicum

How to teach: Voice, pacing, cueing, presence. How to plan a class. How to set up a class. How to adjust on the fly. How to give feedback that helps, not harms. You'll practice teach throughout the program, getting feedback from instructors and peers.

What You'll Learn

Tricia Avery

"I never knew a few thumps, taps, and tracings on the body could be so powerful until I studied with Blaine. I'd practiced EMYoga for years, but her teaching opened up a whole new understanding. My yoga practice deepened, my focus sharpened, and I could feel my health shifting from the inside out. The mind-body-breath connection became something I could sense in every movement. If you want to expand your personal practice or learn to teach yoga through an energetic lens, Blaine's Yoga Teacher Training is an experience you'll never forget."

Sherry Asmus

"I am so grateful for my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training and EMYoga Teacher Training with Blaine. I took the trainings never intending to teach… for personal growth reasons. I gained so much more than I anticipated personally and professionally. I was supported in every way throughout the process. I now teach weekly. Blaine and the larger community created continues to nourish my yoga journey."

200-Hour Online Teacher Training: Live Mentorship & Self-Paced Modules, Fully Registered with Yoga Alliance

Most yoga teacher trainings ask you to rearrange your entire life. Take time off work. Travel somewhere. Show up at specific times, every single week, for months.

That works for some people. But not for you.

You have a job. Aging parents. Kids or grandkids who need you. A body that doesn't always cooperate. A schedule that shifts week to week.

The Problem with Most Trainings:

Our Solution:

You want to learn yoga deeply. Maybe you want to teach. Maybe you just want to understand what's happening in your own body when you practice. Either way, you're not interested in surface-level training that rushes through the material or leaves you wondering if you know what you're doing.

The EMYoga Hybrid 200 gives you both: the structure and depth of an in-person training, with the freedom to learn on your timeline.

8 months of pacing. Pre-recorded lessons you can watch anytime, plus weekly live sessions (all recorded). One year of access to everything after you finish. And a teaching team that has trained hundreds of students, including an entire cohort of women over 50.

This is the first and only time we're offering this training in this format. You'll complete the entire program together with personalized support throughout.

$500 TO SECURE YOUR SPOT NOW

This training is for you if:

You've been practicing yoga for a while and you're ready to go deeper. You want to understand the why behind the poses, not just the how.

You're curious about teaching but you're not sure yet. (Most of our students start that way. By the end, they're leading classes.)

You're drawn to yoga as a healing practice, not just exercise. You care about the nervous system, the breath, the mind-body connection.

You want training that respects where you are right now. Your age. Your flexibility level. Your schedule. Your body.

You've looked at other teacher trainings and thought, "I can't take three weeks away from my life" or "I can't keep up with that pace."

You want a certification that's respected, and Yoga Alliance registered, so you can teach anywhere.

And here's what makes this different: You're interested in yoga that works with your body's energy systems, not just your muscles. You want practical tools you can use right away, for yourself and eventually for others.

The 8-Month Structure: Designed for Real Life

Most yoga teacher trainings cram 200 hours into a few intense weeks or months. You finish exhausted, overwhelmed, and unsure if you retained half of what you learned.

We're doing it differently.

8 months gives you time to absorb the material. Time to practice what you're learning. Time to let it sink into your body, not just your brain.

Each month, you'll get a new set of content: video lessons, practice sequences, readings, and assignments. You'll have weekly live sessions to ask questions, practice teaching, and connect with your cohort. And you'll have 3-4 live EMYoga classes available every week if you want to practice with the community.

Here's what that looks like week to week:

Self-Paced Modules

Watch pre-recorded lessons on your schedule. Pause, rewind, rewatch as many times as you need.

Weekly Live Sessions

Q&A calls, practice teaching sessions, and group discussions. Can't make it? Every session is recorded.

Live Classes

Join 3-4 live EMYoga classes per week (optional, but there if you want them).

Accountability Buddies

You'll be paired with other students to help keep each other on track.

One-on-One Support

Submit short teaching videos for written feedback. Schedule individual Q&A sessions when you need extra help.

Flexible Time Commitment

You'll spend roughly 6-7 hours per week on the training. Some weeks you'll do more, some less. That's the point. You control the pace.

This is the only cohort that will go through the program together in this way. After this, we may offer the training again, but it likely won't include live support for the full program or a group moving through the material with you.

This isn't a generic yoga teacher training. It's a comprehensive education that meets every Yoga Alliance requirement while giving you the practical skills to teach real people in real bodies.

Energy Medicine Yoga Foundations Certification

After you complete the 200-hour training, you'll receive the full online EMYoga Foundations Teacher Training at no additional cost. That's an $897 value. This deeper certification teaches you how to integrate energy medicine techniques into any yoga class you teach.

Bonus: 3 Months of Conscious Business Builders Club

Want to turn your certification into a yoga business? The CBBC membership gives you the business side: how to find students, how to price your classes, marketing strategies that work, legal basics, and how to build a sustainable teaching practice. You'll get templates, resources, and a community of other yoga teachers building their businesses.

No. This training is open to anyone who wants to learn about yoga, regardless of your current level. You don't need to touch your toes, stand on your head, or do any fancy poses. Blaine has trained complete beginners and people in their 60s and 70s. If you can show up and be curious, that's enough.
That's completely fine. Many students start with that intention. Some change their minds by the end. Some don't. Either way, you'll leave with a deeper understanding of your body, your practice, your energy and how yoga works.
Yes. Blaine has led a 200-hour training exclusively for women over 50. She understands how to teach to bodies that have lived a little longer, that carry injuries or limitations, that need modifications. This training is inclusive and trauma-informed. Every body is welcome.
Every live session is recorded. You can watch it later.
You'll practice-teach throughout the program. You'll get feedback from instructors and peers. You'll submit teaching videos for written feedback. And at the end, you'll teach a full class to your cohort. By the time you finish, you'll have logged real teaching hours and received real coaching. That's how you build confidence.
Yes. This is a fully registered 200-hour program with Yoga Alliance. Once you complete the training, pass the exam, and do your teach-out, you'll receive your certificate. You can then register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT-200, which allows you to teach anywhere in the world.
Yes. We have a robust community of EMYoga teachers with ongoing training, support, and opportunities to teach. Many graduates continue to participate in advanced trainings, workshops, and the broader EMYoga network.
If you have an injury or limitation, you’re in good company. Many of our students do. We teach clear modifications, focus on safety, and help you work within healthy ranges so your body stays supported throughout the training.
You'll need a yoga mat, a few basic props (blocks, strap, blanket), and a device with internet access to watch videos and join live sessions. You'll also need to purchase 4-5 required books for the training (available in used, new, and Kindle formats).

Frequently Asked Questions

Here's what you need to know:

This is the first time we're offering this training in this format. The first cohort. The only group that will go through the entire 8 months together, with this level of live support and community.

We may offer it again in the future. But it won't be structured like this.

If you've been thinking about yoga teacher training but couldn't make other programs work with your life, this is your chance.

If you're ready to understand what's happening in your body, this is it.

If you want to teach but you're scared you're too old, too stiff, too late, or not "yoga teacher material" - we've heard that from students before. They were surprised to find out none of it was true.

You'll become a confident, capable yoga teacher who understands both the physical and energetic anatomy of the body. You'll be able to lead safe, meaningful classes that genuinely help people feel better.

Along the way, you'll deepen your own practice, heal your relationship with your body, and connect with a community of people who get it.
